A milestone day for Womens Shed Movement

The national launch of Women’s Sheds of Ireland marked a significant milestone for the Women’s Shed movement — bringing women from sheds across the country together to celebrate how far the movement has come and, importantly, to look towards its future.

The day was about more than launching an organisation. It was about connection, recognition and giving Women’s Sheds a stronger collective voice at national level. Women shared their experiences, celebrated the impact sheds are having in communities across Ireland and helped reinforce the need for a sustainable national structure to support and represent this growing movement.

The energy, friendship and sense of shared purpose in the room reflected everything that Women’s Sheds stand for.
